Our People - Tom Grummitt
Licensed Insolvency Practitioner
I joined Bridgewood in November 2020 to take both personal and corporate insolvency appointments. My day to day focus is primarily on personal insolvency and on investigating the circumstances leading to insolvency, to ensure that creditor concerns around how an individual or business has operated prior to the onset of insolvency are alleviated.
I started in insolvency after graduating from university and my background is primarily in personal insolvency having spent seven years working for a volume provider of Individual Voluntary Arrangements, although I have experience of all of the procedures available to both individuals and companies under the Insolvency Act. I qualified as an Insolvency Practitioner in 2019 and won the JIEB's first place prize in personal insolvency in the process.
I am a keen runner and can also often be found walking, eating and drinking my way around the Lake District.
