Personal Insolvency

In addition to our corporate insolvency services, such as Administration and Company Liquidation, Bridgewood are highly experienced in dealing with complex personal insolvency cases and personal liabilities linked to trading debts.

This includes areas such as:

  • Sole Trader debts
  • Partnership debts
  • Director's personal guarantees
  • HMRC debts
  • Bankruptcy Annulment

Where a formal insolvency solution such as an Individual Voluntary Arrangement (IVA) or Bankruptcy is unavoidable, we will advise on all of the potential routes available and the implications of each. This allows the debtor to make an informed choice on the best way to proceed.

Unlike consumer debt firms who only offer telephone advice via large call centres, we have Insolvency Advice Managers based across the country, meaning face-to-face appointments are available where appropriate.

Please note: We are unable to help with standard consumer debt situations not linked to trade. If you require this kind of advice you should visit the Money Advice Service for further information.
